Some men want to feel their tongue burn, others just like the kick it gives. Spicy food, it has been around for millions of years and many indulge in it for the love of the heat. Spicy food not only gives you ‘pleasure’ orally, it also brings real good health benefits.
Health benefits? What health benefits? Believe it or not spicy food lowers the risk of death, what are you waiting for, run to the kitchen and grab a chili and munch away. Jokes aside, a study published in The BMJ proven that spicy food does indeed lower the risk of death.
For those of you who love curry, Indian curry has anti-cancer benefits. Curries are made from spices that help ward off cancer. Spices such as turmeric, fennel, saffron, cumin, cinnamon, oregano, capsaicin and ginger are wonderful anti-cancer agents.
